Built in the year 2000 as their private tropical retreat by the proprietors of the famed Emerson Resort and Spa, The Emerson Beach House is the gem of St. Croix’ Rainbow Coast.

This four bedroom, four bath villa boasts two complete kitchens, two master bedrooms and two living rooms - all situated within a walled compound. A caretaker’s cottage completes the beautifully landscaped grounds.

Unique among all properties on the island, the beach house includes St. Croix’s only natural coral pool. Every seventh wave delivers fresh seawater to the pool - as well as the occasional tropical fish. At times, snorkelers have counted as many as twenty different species living among the coral rocks.

Mt. Tremper in The Hudson Valley

Around the perimeter of the beachhouse is a balcony accessible from every room. Whether a venue for outdoor dining or simply a place to gather at dusk to watch the sun sink spectacularly into the sea beyond Hamm’s Bluff, the balcony is the perfect spot for “ limein’ ”, the Crucian word for not doing much of anything at all.

Situated on the northernmost spot on Cane Bay, The Emerson Beach House enjoys a panoramic view of St. Thomas, St. John, and the British Virgin Islands. On a clear day, off to the northwest, a rare glimpse of Vieques and Puerto Rico may be had.
